I’m baaaaaaaack….it’s been a while

Hey guys, first let me apologize for having not blogged in a while..since Christmas of 2012 (I can’t believe it’s been that long).  I had a lot going on (life and then some) and for a moment, I was really contemplating if I even wanted to keep doing this blogging thing.  You see, I became a bit discouraged after not passing the CFP exam (that sucks), which I took last November.  I guess everything kinda went downhill from there, including some other personal issues, in addition to that I was trying to get settled into a new job (yes, I’m back working) after my lay-off, which took place, June 2012.

Anyways, I’ve decided to return and bring this blog back to life with new, informative and exciting posts from me and others and that includes YOU TOO.  I see this blog becoming more of a community-type blog….it’s not all about me….my life is not as exciting as yours, I’m sure….lol.

You see, I’ve really missed you guys and I feel that I kind of owe it to you to keep going and give to you as much financial knowledge (and other stuff) as I can.  Yes, I’m still studying to re-take the CFP and I WILL PASS IT.  I’m keeping my head up and now that I’m settled and life’s getting back to normal, I can start dedicating more time to YOU.

So feel free to drop me an email and let me know what’s going on in your life and how you’ve been coping financially…or just in general.  I’m here and I’m all ears.

So let’s get this party started right…or better yet, let’s get back on the bandwagon….lol.  You know what I mean.

Welcome to My Take on Money

Welcome!

Thanks for stopping by My take on Money.

My name is Alunda and I love personal finance.  I’m a single female residing in Atlanta.

My Take on Money is a personal finance blog about  “my” perspective on money. Yep you read that right.   I will post articles related to personal finance from my own view of money.  When you think about it, everyone has some type of relationship with money, whether it be good or bad.

Because this blog is related to personal finance from my own perspective.  I will open up and share with you some of my own personal experiences with money and how I’ve developed and continue  to keep a healthy relationship with it on a daily basis. My ultimate goal is to show you  how to earn it and  how to keep it.

In addition, I hope this blog will encourage you to open up and share your personal view and relationship with money so that we can learn from any mistakes or successes you might have had.  I love to share, so this should be really fun.

Please feel free to comment on anything, I’d love to hear from you.

Thanks for stopping by.
